Изначально написано Durimar:

The captured Russian rifles were collected and ALL of them were brought to the AZD (not AZF!!), the Artillerie Zeugs Depot in Vienna. Starting in 1914 already private firms, like Johann Springers Erben (JSE) or Kaletzky's Witwe or Franz Neuber (all in Vienna) or Ottokar Wolanski (in Prague), got the order to inspect small quantities of the Russian rifles and add sling swivels etc. A little later the AZF got most of the Russian rifles. That part was called "renovation" by the Austrians.
November 28, 1914 already the director of the OEWG wrote to the "Hohe Kaiserliche und Königliche Kriegsministerium" (War Ministry) in Vienna and offered the conversion of the Russian rifles to the Austrian calibre. He said that it was possible to transform 200 rifles per day. The kuk war department stated December 9, 1914, that all Russian rifle should be adapted to the Austrian calibre. That part was called "transformation" by the Austrians.
So after the renovation at least 200000 rifles were given to the OEWG for the transformation. No other factory did the conversion (Document: File kuk Kriegsministerium 7A 26-26, June 24, 1915).
